An Apostolic Church On The Move

God's Church of Deliverance  is an apostolic church. This has nothing to do with denomination but with assignment. To fully understand what is meant by this statement we must first look at the root word “apostle.” An apostle is a Christian leader uniquely gifted, prepared, and sent by God with authority to establish as well as oversee churches and ministries. An apostle is sent by God into assigned areas to establish and secure sound foundations in churches resulting in expanding the kingdom of God while ensuring the healthy growth and maturing of Christians.

The key point here is that an apostle is one who is sent. Jesus was sent by the Father, Jesus sent His disciples, and now the Holy Spirit has been sent into the world where He is raising up new apostles who are then sent by their local churches into the work to which they are called.

As an apostolic church God's Church of Deliverance understands and implements the concept of sending. Prepared believers are sent into ministry within the church as well as locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Rather than just being inward looking the apostolic church sees itself as a training and equipping center preparing people to have an impact on our society and the world. An apostolic church creates an environment where Christians can become all that they were created to be while being sent to a world that needs Jesus. God's Church of Deliverance  provides training and equipping through  leadership training, home groups, discipleship, as well as the in-depth teaching of God’s Word every Sunday and Thursday.
